Toronto Raptors, one of the youngest teams in the NBA, was founded in 1995 and joined the NBA in 1995-1996. The Raptors are based in Toronto, Canada, and are the only NBA team outside the United States. The Raptors have a short history, but after a few years in the NBA, they soon become one of the competitive teams in the East. In the 1995-1996 season, the Raptors first played in the NBA, and rookie Damon Stoudemire was the leader of their first season. Then in 1998, the Raptors got rookie Vince Carter from the warriors in the draft, becoming the second generation leader of the Raptors, and Chris Bosh became the core of the team since 2003. In 2010, with Bosh's transfer to Miami Heat, the Raptors began to enter the period of no leader. In 2013, after the brief Rudy Gay era, Kyle Lowry and DeMar drozan formed a backcourt double shot in 2013-2014 season. In 2015-16 season, raptors reached the eastern finals, cheap jerseys creating the best playoff record in the team's history.
In 2017-18 season, raptors achieved 59 wins and 23 losses in the regular season, ranking first in the East, creating the best record in the regular season in the history of the team. In 2018-19 season, the Raptors beat the Bucks 4-2 in the eastern finals, and the team made the NBA Finals for the first time. On June 14, 2019, the Raptors won the NBA championship for the first time by beating warriors 4-2 away.
